About Us

Waypoint Associates, Ltd. is an owner-operated business that was founded in 1990 by Henry Miles.  Henry is a people-oriented, results-driven adviser with substantial experience in commercial and investment banking, information technology services, restructurings and transformations, conversions and integrations, risk mitigation, business and project management, and strategic planning.

Henry is a 35-year veteran of the financial services industry and has held line, staff, and executive positions with what now is U.S. Bank, and RBC Wealth Management.  In addition, he has consulted through Waypoint Associates to some of the most successful firms in the United States and Canada.

Henry earned his B.S. from Iowa State University in Economics and Industrial Administration, and his M.B.A. from the University of Minnesota.  He co-authored ground-breaking research in the Journal of Management Inquiry on the competitive opportunities in rival mergers, acquisitions, downsizings and restructurings.  Henry also led the project creating the largest metropolitan area wildlife reserve in the Twin Cities.
